Hi there. Work required to be was to install tapware and a laundry tub as well replace a burst inlet pipe in the bathroom. This was done well. However one of the new taps was not installed straight and it as an angle to the wall. Also the board under the waste-paper below the tub was cut roughly. Photos attached.
We have dealt with Steve Bennett Plumbing several times over the years and have been happy with their service.

My partner found this highly rated business online and we believed it was a great as we relied on Google reviews. We were thoroughly disappointed with the communication and the service provided in two occasions.

1. Day 1: Our apartment (where we have tenants now) drain was clogged and contacted Steve Bennett plumbing to access and fix on 7/3/24. They had managed use a drain solvent to unclog. We were charged $236 for call out fee and product used. At this point we were pleased that it was just clear and were happy to pay for their service.

2. Less than a week later 13/3/24 the drain was clogged again so we wanted to check in with the plumbing service and asked for their recommendation on what to do. They offered a pressure wash and to lodge a camera to see what they could do to help fix. They also offered no call out fee and mentioned they'd have a member check it out on the Friday 15/3/24 on the same week. We agreed to the service and wanted to go ahead with their recommendation.

3. The service was completed and we received a quote of the same exact service - liquid drain solvent poured down and call out fee. We were confused and frustrated that what was promised was not delivered but in fact the same solvent was poured down the drain with $236 invoice sent to us to be paid again. Frustratingly we called the team and asked why they offered to service of pressure wash and camera to access issue and why it was not actioned. We were fine to pay but would have appreciated some communication to what we agreed on.

4. We called today and they apologised and mentioned it could be a bigger issue. (This was why we agreed to the camera assessment). We are not happy customers and will no longer be using their services again.
